Driving in St.Lucia
In St.Lucia vehicles are driven on the LEFT side of the road and All Drive-A-Matic vehicles are right-hand drive . All drivers are required to follow St.Lucia road traffic laws and regulations. Failure to comply will result in full prosecution as set out in the St.Lucia road traffic laws.
Drivers License
Visitors to St. Lucia who do not possess an international driving permit must purchase a temporary permit in order to drive in St. Lucia. The permit is good for three months and costs $54 EC or $20 US. Permits can be obtained from the St.Lucia immigration department at either airport or at any St.Lucia police department . When obtaining your St.Lucia permit you must present your drivers license. For your added convenience local Driver's Permits are issued by our Rental Agents at the time of the rental. International drivers must have their permit stamped at immigration. There is no charge for this .
